We have gone through some annual cycles of Economic Empowerment Expos where we exhibited products and services at E3. This year as we started preparing for E3 we had a divine interruption. In the past our strategy was to seek exhibitors from the public to patronize the event. This year however, the Lord had us revise our strategy which was counterproductive. The original purpose of E3 was to give exposure to Christian owned businesses but then the reality is that there very few Christian owned businesses.

Most Christians have either not started pursuit of their dream venture or are at an infant stage struggling with teething issues. It is obvious that most Christians need help with their dream ventures.

For this reason, we are convening a retreat this year to take a new and dynamic approach to incubate and boost Christian ventures. Christians who have a dream venture or already in operation require a support system.

Favor Alliance would host 'Monthly Online Networking Mixers on the Cibunet Platform to provide a support forum for the development of enterprises. The Mixer would be approximately two hours in duration. It would feature Coaching , Planning, Networking, Funding as well as Prayer Sessions.

This would afford Christians an opportunity to Learn kingdom practices for the marketplace, Share testimonies and Connect with resources and referrals to advance our dreams to realization.

The first 'Monthly Online Networking Mixer' is scheduled for Saturday July 21st, 2018. Time is 10am - 12noon. Platform - favoralliance.cibunet.com

1. We are no longer using Firefox internet browser to access our platform so please use ‘Chrome’ Internet Browser. If you don’t already have ‘Chrome’ installed on your device, please download it at the Google Play Store or at <a href="https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/" target="_blank">https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/</a>
2. In the Chrome Browser window please enter <a href="http://favoralliance.cibunet.com/" target="_blank">http://favoralliance.cibunet.com</a>
3. If you are already registered on any Cibunet site, simply click on ‘LOG IN’ and enter your Username and Password. If you have not registered yet on any Cibunet site, please click on ‘SIGN UP’ to register yourself and log in.
4. Once you are logged in, please click on ‘MY OFFICE’ in the menu bar of the site and it would open a new portal
5. Click on PREFERENCES on the menu
6. Enter Your Display Name
7. Select ‘FAVOR ALLIANCE’ as well as any other interface to which you belong
8. Upload Your picture
9. SAVE
ON SATURDAY AUGUST 18TH,2018 AT 10 am - INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN THE EVENT
1. In the Chrome Browser window of your device, please enter <a href="http://favoralliance.cibunet.com/" target="_blank">http://favoralliance.cibunet.com</a>
2. Click on ‘LOG IN’ and enter your Username and Password.
3. Once you are logged in, please click on ‘MY OFFICE’ in the menu bar of the site and it would open a new portal
4. You will notice several module icons, please click on ‘MY PRESENTATIONS’
5. At ‘My Presentations’ module, you will notice the listed event. Please click on ‘JOIN EVENT’ and a new page would open.
6. Please click on the button ‘Join Room’. A dialogue box may pop up and ask your permission to use your camera and microphone, please Accept it and you will be automatically connected to the event.
7. Please Type a Greeting at the Chat Box
8. At the exact time when the event is scheduled to start, you will notice that the host’s video will change to a mini stream of the event. Please click on ‘Switch Screen’ assigned to this stream. A dialogue will pop up to ask your permission ‘Do you want this screen in full mode?’ Please Accept it and you would now see the event streaming on the larger screen.
I recommend that you attempt to follow the instructions immediately you get this mail, so you can be conversant with the system. Assuming you have any challenges with implementing these instructions, please feel free to contact me before the event.
